Most current odds say that Germany will repeat their world cup win of 2014 with Brazil then France and finally Spain rounding out the top spots.
Can anyone predict a world cup winner? Some claim they can. We do know that bookies have to make a living on their predictions, so they offer a non emotional look at what stats, tiredness of players, distance traveled to qualify, time played in professional league and injuries can do to an international team. Here are the latest predictions:
Germany - Brazil - France - Spain
Some put Brazil even with Germany, but the majority have Germany as the odds on favorites. Neymar’s fitness is a big question mark for Brazil this year, but the team is deep and can probably survive his injury woes.
Uruguay won the first world cup in 1930, but no country has won back to back World Cups since Brazil in 1962. Italy won back to back in 1934 and 1938. Can Germany be the next team to win back to back World Cups?
