The Premier League Festive Season Schedule at the Toffee Club in Portland, Oregon
The festive season is upon us! At the time of year when most leagues take a break, the Premier League is ramping up. Christmas Day and Boxing Day football have been a tradition in England since 1860. The Christmas Day games are a thing of the past, however Boxing Day remains a peak soccer day every year.
Boxing Day falls on the 26th of December and is a second national holiday after Christmas in the UK. It’s traditionally a day spent with friends and family over more food, more drinks and for many, more football.
Many, including Copa90 believe the lack of a winter break in the Premier League is detrimental to the English national team.
The Toffee Club will be open every day over the holidays apart from Christmas Day. And of course we will be open early for those Boxing Day matches.
