Finding a space to meet in Portland can be a challenge. We know that groups appreciate the following in order to have a successful meeting:
A private space if needed. Some groups have sensitives topics and privacy is key.
Access to food and drinks. It’s always fun to have a good selection of reasonably priced food and drink for any meeting.
Reasonable meeting rates. Toffee Club owner Niki works directly with groups to fit your needs.
A lively atmosphere for fun meetings if you do want to be around others such as happy hour or social events.
We asked one of our customers how she likes using our Clubhouse and bar for her Meetup Groups.
I have two kinds of groups. The first has to be private. This is why I love the Clubhouse. We still have the great location of the bar, but once in the back room with the door closed, it’s completely private. People can come and go as needed, but we can talk openly about sensitive topics without having to interact with the general public. We still get great food and drinks! And there are easy to access restrooms. To be honest, it’s the perfect Meetup location for my first group. The second group is a marketing group where we meet to work on our computers and come up with new ideas to get our books on the best seller list. We like to do this meeting in the bar itself. There are big tables and the internet works well. I love the pub atmosphere. The drinks are very reasonable and the food is great. I highly recommend The Toffee Club for your next Meetup Group. Working with the owner Niki has been very easy as she is so organized.
If you’re looking for a convenient, clean and lively space for a Meetup event, please contact Niki with your questions. Groups in the past include board meetings, graphic design creators group, art classes, video gamer groups, book clubs, writing groups, marketing groups and more.
If you’re looking for a place to socialize with your group, our brewery, Away Days Brewing Co., right next door to the Toffee Club is a great place to talk and mingle.
